Gianni finest Italian restaurant in Bangkok

29 April 2011

Gianni Ristorante cuisine is based on the three main principles of Mediterranean style, modernity and top quality raw ingredients. It is Mediterranean because its origins are steeped in the culinary traditions of Italy, which the interpretation of Gianni Favro then freely interprets and modifies. It is modern thanks not only to the extensive use of extra-virgin olive oil instead of other fat, meats to fit a more up-to-date lifestyle, but also to the use of the most advanced cooking techniques and technologies available. But the essential building block of our cuisine is the availability of the highest quality raw materials: for ten years we have sought out Italian artisan food producers and found the best way to be shipped to Bangkok bi-weekly in order to have the freshest and most fragrant ingredients like at any morning market in Italy.

The wine cellar is unique, 250 labels of the most representative wines, rigorously all from Italy representing – not only for the extensive collection of great wines, but also for the importance given to the temperature that houses them. All the wines are stored in air-conditioned or refrigerators because we believe that wines should get as little temperature shocks as possible and . Inside, the temperature is perfect for the ‘king’ Barolo, the bubbles of Franciacorta, the big super-Tuscan and rising stars of the southern part of Italy.

Peccati di Gola – Italian restaurant in Zhuhai (China)

3 July 2009

Where to go to eat “real” Italian food when you are in Guangdong province in China? For sure Peccati di Gola in Zhuhai city is the top choice. Managed by two Italian guys: Simone manages the service and welcomes the guests while Stefano is in the kitchen.

Starting with Parmigiana (eggplants) or the typical Italian raw ham and cheese is just the first step. As main course, we suggest the Italian pasta that is served “al dente” with different typical sauces (Carbonara, Amatriciana, Bolognese). As alternative we suggest the pizza that is one of the best you can find outside Italy. We personally suggest with ham and mushrooms top even if the real Italian pizza is the Margherita. Panna Cotta and Tiramisu are the best choice for dessert.
